A man allegedly travelling in a stolen ute is missing after the vehicle was found dumped in Queensland bushland.
Joe Johnson, 28, from Pie Creek near Gympie in the Wide Bay region, has not been seen by his loved ones since December 12.
He is alleged to have been travelling in a white Mitsubishi ute that was reported to have been stolen from a Tandur property on the day he was last seen.

The car was found in bushland off Deans Rd at The Palms on December 27.
The discovery of the car has sparked “serious concerns for Joe’s welfare”, police said in a statement.
A search of the area involving police and SES volunteers has begun on Tuesday.
Police divers are set to scour creeks.
Residents in the area have been asked to check their properties and CCTV camera footage for signs of Johnson.
He is described as being slim and about 180cm tall, as well has having short brown hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
