An urgent search is underway for a Melbourne man who mysteriously vanished on a dog walk in the middle of the afternoon.
Daniel, from Warrandyte, left his workplace on Heidelberg-Warrandyte Rd at about 1pm on Wednesday and has not been seen since.
It is believed the 35-year-old returned to his home on West End Rd, collected his Jack Russell and the pair went for a walk along the Yarra River.

Then at about 6pm the same day, Daniel’s belongings were found on the riverbank, just off Taroona Reserve and a wide-scale search was commenced.
Daniel’s family said his disappearance was out of character and the search has involved water police, the Air Wing and the SES, and is continuing on Thursday.
Daniel is described as Caucasian, with a thin build, brown eyes and short brown hair.
Police have urged anyone who sights Daniel to contact them.
