There are grave concerns for a man who has been missing for two days after failing to meet up with a friend in the northern WA town of Karratha.
Ambrose Walton, 33, was staying at the Marandoo Mine Camp, near Tom Price in the state’s Pilbara region, and had planned to travel to Brockman 4 Camp, about 90 minutes away, on Tuesday.
He was also due to meet a friend in Karratha at 2pm on the same day but did not show up at either destination.

WA Police say Walton is thought to be travelling in a white Toyota Hilux ute with the registration 1GYE661.
The car has a large Schlam Engineering decal on the side and is fitted with a black bull bar, light bar, UHF aerial, solar panel on the roof and rear roof mounted mining lights.

“Concerns are held for Mr Walton’s welfare,” police said.
Walton has a strong Canadian accent and is described as 178cm tall with a slim build, long brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444.
